Arrow McLaren recently announced details for its new IndyCar race shop, which will be ready to go for the 2026 season.

Just 10 miles away from Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the new location will give the growing team room to spread out and work more comfortably.

Arrow McLaren is currently operating out of a 33,000 square foot (3,065 square meter) facility, and the new location will nearly triple the team’s operating space to 86,000 square feet (6,875 to 7,990 square meters).

In wake of the news about the new shop, Motorsportweek.com asked one of the team’s drivers Nolan Siegel if the current facilities feel cramped.

“Yes,” wholeheartedly agreed Siegel. “Very much in need of more space. The current shop, people are stacked on top of each other. It’s quite small.

“I think that’s going to be huge for the team. It’s going to make quality of life better, and it’s going to make the quality of work better.

“Being in a better facility, it’s going to be a big step forward for this team, and it’s something that’s been needed for a while. Everyone is super excited about that.”

The new facility is currently being renovated after Arrow McLaren took over ownership of the property from Andretti Global.

New features will include a new fitness center, a second floor mezzanine, and of course a refinish of the exterior to match the team’s branded colors.

Siegel joked that he had made some special requests for the new building that wouldn’t necessarily contribute to the performance of the cars on track.

“I’ve asked for certain things,” said Siegel, laughing. “A hot tub. No, I don’t think I’m going to get any of that. Maybe I’ll be surprised. I’ve made many requests, I just don’t know if they will actually come to life.”
