David Alonso produced a late charge from fifth to first as he claimed his maiden Moto2 victory at the brand-new Balaton Park circuit.

Alonso prevailed over championship contenders Manuel Gonzalez and Diogo Moreira on the final two laps of the race as he won his first-ever race in the intermediate class by 0.174s.

Gonzalez made the best start from third, as he held the inside line to take the lead from polesitter Moreira.

Further down the order, chaos struck at Turn 1 as four riders were taken out of contention, with Celestino Vietti, Yuki Kunii, Darryn Binder and Unai Orradre all falling victim to the difficult race start.

Amidst the drama behind, Jake Dixon made a strong start from the second row and managed to overtake both Moreira and Gonzalez for the lead of the race.

While both Moreira and Gonzalez looked to be the quicker riders throughout, Dixon’s strong late-braking allowed him to retain the lead ahead of the championship contenders.

However, on Lap 4 the Brazilian was able to use his superior pace to pass Dixon after the British rider ran onto the green paint at Turn 5.

A lap later, the championship leader made his move on Dixon to take second place, and attempted to close on Moreira who had set the fastest lap of the race.

A slight bobble for Moreira out of Turn 5 allowed Gonzalez to close the gap, with the Spaniard cutting three tenths out of the Brazilian’s lead in a single lap.

Aron Canet spent a number of laps looking to pass Dixon, but the rookie duo of Collin Veijer and David Alonso capitalised on the Spaniard’s drop in pace to take fourth and fifth respectively.

At the front, Gonzalez continued to close the gap between himself and the Brazilian and was finally able to take his opportunity on Lap 15, as he took the lead and immediately attempted to break away.

In the battle for the final podium positions behind, Alonso set a new lap record as he used his new-found pace to pass fellow rookie Veijer for fourth.

At the front, Gonzalez had a big moment on the curbs coming out of Turn 5 to allow Moreira to close in, but the Spaniard managed to retain his position, but brought the second group of Dixon and Alonso back into contention.

Alonso was able to use the change to his advantage, as he stole third place from Dixon going into the first corner and attempted to charge onto the back of the leading pair.

The reigning Moto3 World Champion studied the braking of Moreira ahead, and with two laps remaining he made his move at Turn 1, holding onto the position despite having his foot come off the side of his Aspar machine.

Gonzalez was next to come under pressure from the fast-charging Alonso, but the Colombian was unable to produce an overtake at his favoured Turn 1.

At Turn 9, Alonso finally decided to strike and forced Gonzalez wide at the chicane, as the Aspar rider looked on course to take a debut victory in the class.

The Colombian ran wide at the final chicane to allow Moreira one final opportunity to clinch the race victory, as the leading trio were level down the last straight.

Alonso came through to seal his maiden Moto2 victory as he became the first Colombian to win a race in the intermediate class.

Moreira maintained second place over the line despite contact with Gonzalez, with the disgruntled Spaniard completing the podium.

Dixon clinched fourth ahead of Veijer in fifth, while Canet eventually crossed the line in sixth.

Adrian Huertas produced his best result in Moto2 to date as he took seventh, as Filip Salac saw the chequered flag in eighth.

Daniel Holgado led fellow rookie Ivan Ortola over the line as the pair took ninth and 10th respectively, with Marcos Ramirez a distant 11th.

Barry Baltus was forced to take a long lap due to track limits but came home in 12th, as Zonta van den Goorbergh finished 13th.

Albert Arenas was involved in the first corner incident but crossed the line in 14th, as Tony Arbolino completed the points finishers in 15th.

Italtrans Racing Team rider Diogo Moreira cruised to a comfortable and dominant victory in Austria in Moto2.

The Brazilian secured his second victory of the season, marking another strong performance in the Moto2 intermediate class.

CFMoto rider Holgado maintained the holeshot into Turn 1, but Moreira secured the lead at the end of the opening lap.

Senna Agius suffered a tough highside at Turn 2, resulting in Alonso Lopez having to take evasive action and dropping back.

Out front, the Brazilian rider stretched a 0.3s by the end of Lap 2, with the Italtrans rider bidding for a second win in the intermediate class.

He posted back-to-back fastest laps on Lap 3 and Lap 4, but the gap didn’t increase any further until the end of Lap 5.

Dramatically, that same lap, championship leader Manual Gonzalez dropped back to 14th after occupying the higher positions.

His bike slowed down dramatically down the straight between Turns 3 and 4, but got going again. The issues reoccurred two laps later, before retiring due to a technical issue on Lap 7.

As the race approached the midway point, riders weren’t overtaking, but only 0.5s separated the lead trio consisting of Moreira, Holgado and Vietti.

On Lap 14, Alonso caught up to the back of Vietti before rising to third heading into Turn 3. Vietti responded later in the lap, but Alonso completed a successful move on Lap 15 as the Italian was handed a long-lap penalty for exceeding track limits.

Vietti dropped down to fifth after his long lap penalty behind fellow countryman Tony Arbolino.

The leading trio of Moreira and the CFMoto duo, Holgado and Alonso, were keeping the Brazilian at bay, but the latter threw away his podium chance with a crash at Turn 9.

Vietti continued to show rapid speed to overtake Arbolino almost immediately, putting him back in the final spot on the podium.

Out front, Moreira upped the ante as he established a 1.4s advantage over Holgado, before winning by 2.3s.

His win boosts his title hopes following Gonzalez’s retirement, while Holgado secured his first Moto2 podium in his rookie season.

Vietti’s long-lap penalty issuing proved to be meaningless as he secured the final podium spot, defeating Alberto Arenas and Arbolino in the closing stages.

Ivan Ortola won in a last-lap battle with Barry Baltus, Colin Veijer, and Izan Guevara, where all four riders were separated by less than half a second.

Championship contender Aron Canet had a quiet race as he rounded off the top ten, followed by Filip Salac, Marcos Ramirez, and Ayumu Sasaki.

Daniel Munoz produced his best result in 14th, one second ahead of Darryn Binder, who closed out the points.

Joe Roberts scored his first race victory of the season after prevailing in a tight battle in the Czech Moto2 race.

Roberts duelled with polesitter Barry Baltus throughout the early stages of the race, but used his strong rhythm to take victory over the Belgian by 1.079s.

Manuel Gonzalez made the best start to the race but was unable to reach Turn 1 in the lead as Marcos Ramirez held the inside line from third on the grid.

Gonzalez took the lead of the race at Turn 3, as championship rival Aron Canet crashed out of the race from 17th on the grid.

Ramirez regained the lead of the race at the end of the first lap, as the American Racing rider looked to create a gap ahead of serving his double long lap penalty from the German GP.

Polesitter Baltus began to show his pace as he took the lead of the race for the first time, as Roberts returned to second place after losing it off the start.

Ramirez served his first long lap penalty, which allowed Gonzalez to return to the podium, with the Spanish rider rejoining the race between the first two groups of riders.

Ramirez’s second penalty pushed him down to 12th in the standings, likely removing the Spaniard from podium contention.

At the front, Roberts was pressurising Baltus for the lead of the race, with the American rider taking the advantage on Lap 7.

Despite battling with each other for the lead, Roberts and Baltus were pulling away from Gonzalez in third as the championship leader appeared to settle into his own rhythm.

The race began to plateau at the front, with the main fights for coming in the minor points positions, as Jake Dixon and David Alonso commenced battle for 13th.

Alonso won out against the Brit, and continued to have late race pace to progress further into the top 10, as the Colombian was set to battle with Ramirez on the final lap of the race.

At the front of the race, Roberts settled into the rhythm to take his first victory of the campaign by just over a second.

Baltus took second place after starting on pole, while championship leader Gonzalez extended his advantage after completing the podium in third.

Daniel Holgado accomplished a strong performance by taking fourth, with the Spaniard holding off Celestino Vietti, who finished fifth.

Izan Guevara ended the race in sixth, ahead of Ramirez who earned seventh despite serving a double long lap penalty.

Home hero Filip Salac scored an eighth place, as Alonso completed the race in ninth.

Albert Arenas rounded out the top 10 despite having a grid penalty, while Dixon struggled in the last few laps to 11th.

Ivan Ortola bested Deniz Oncu in a drag to the line, as the pair finished 12th and 13th respectively.

Rookie Adrian Huertas ended the CzechGP in 14th as Senna Agius completing the points finishers in 15th.

KTM Ajo’s Deniz Oncu earned his second victory of 2025 in a dramatic German Moto2 race that was ended under a red flag.

A high-speed crash between Albert Arenas and Marcos Ramirez saw the air fence at Turn 1 damaged, forcing the red flag to come out with 21 laps completed.

Jake Dixon and Senna Agius got good initial launches off the line, but the pair ran wide at the first corner allowing Tony Arbolino to take the lead.

Agius fought back to fourth but was awarded a double long lap for a jump start, which removed him from contention for the victory.

Deniz Oncu made a strong start from the second row and was pressurising Arbolino for the lead, with the Turkish rider making his move on the third lap.

However, the Italian had the pace to respond and regained the lead at Turn 1 a lap later.

Championship contender Diogo Moreira also made a fantastic start to the race, moving from 25th into the top ten within the opening five laps.

At the front, Oncu decided to strike again down the start/finish straight to take the lead away from Arbolino again.

Barry Baltus also appeared to have the pace to challenge for the lead of the race as he closed in on the leading pair.

On Lap 8, Baltus pressured Arbolino for second, as the Italian lost the front and crashed out of the race.

Further down the order, Moreira continued to make progress from his lowly grid position as he moved into the top five after a strong overtake on the American Racing pair of Joe Roberts and Marcos Ramirez.

Championship leader Manuel Gonzalez was struggling to make the same progress as Moreira, as he was locked in a battle with rival Aron Canet and Celestino Vietti.

Gonzalez made his move on Canet, but continued to be stuck behind Vietti, as the trio attempted to close the gap to the riders ahead.

Moreira’s momentum continued as he looked to take a surprise podium from the back row of the grid, but made contact with polesitter Dixon and was forced into the gravel.

Albert Arenas used the contact as an opportunity to take the final podium position in third as Dixon recovered from the contact.

After a dangerous rejoin, reigning Moto3 champion David Alonso ran into the back of Moreira as both riders exited the race.

As the race settled after the contact between Moreira and Alonso, Dixon re-passed Arenas to move back onto the podium.

Arenas looked to be taking a comfortable fourth position, but a moment at Turn 1 for Ramirez behind saw him run into the back of his compatriot.

Both riders exited the race after the high-speed contact, with the air fence at the corner facing significant damage from Ramirez’s machine.

The red flag was thrown out shortly after the incident as the race concluded with 21 laps completed out of the scheduled 23.

The result meant that Oncu was declared the victor by just over a tenth of a second.

Baltus was not afforded the time to challenge Oncu for the victory as the Belgian took second place.

Dixon completed the podium in third after a difficult start to the race from pole position.

Gonzalez recovered from 16th on the grid to take fourth, while Vietti completed a similar comeback ride in fifth.

Roberts finished the race in sixth, ahead of championship challenger Canet in seventh.

Izan Guevara had a strong ride in eighth, while Ayumu Sasaki took ninth and Filip Salac completed the top 10.

Agius completed his double long lap and finished 11th, with Dani Holgado taking the flag in 12th.

Ivan Ortola started the race strongly but struggled with tyre management as he finished 13th, with Jorge Navarro taking 14th.

Darryn Binder completed the points finishers of the red-flagged race in 15th.

Diogo Moreira claimed victory in the Assen Moto2 race after overtaking Aron Canet on the penultimate lap.

The Brazilian made a lunge at Turn 3 and became the first Brazilian race winner in the intermediate class.

Moreira started from pole but Ivan Ortola took the lead into Turn 1 from second place.

However, the Brazilian star caught Ortola napping at Turn 3 to swoop back into the lead.

Turkish rider Denis Oncu started tenth but rose up to fourth from the lights, behind championship contender Canet.

Canet overtook the race leader Moreira on Lap 2, both riders made slight contact before the Spaniard made the fastest lap of the race.

Championship leader Manuel Gonzalez started third but dropped down six positions after the second lap.

Reigning Moto3 champion David Alonso crashed out of the final corner of Lap 2, whereas his CFMoto team-mate Daniel Holgado climbed to ninth place.

Barry Baltus’ race ended abruptly at Turn 1 after serving the double long-lap penalty that was issued prior to the race start.

Jake Dixon and Gonzalez both elevated themselves up to fifth and sixth place, respectively, following the conclusion of Lap 8.

Out front Canet and Moreira formed a 1.8s advantage over the rest on Lap 9, but this time the Brazilian rider was eyeing a first win in Moto2.

Gonzalez rose further to claim fourth after moves on Dixon and Joe Roberts, and he was eyeing the perfect opportunity to take third off Oncu.

His superiority in the first sector saw multiple moves as he took third off the Turkish rider on Lap 12, but a possible win would be a toll order considering the 3.6s gap to the leading duo.

Oncu retired at the final corner on Lap 14 after he attempted to catch up to the championship leader.

Out front the Brazilian still hadn’t made a move on Canet, but was experimenting to see where his weak points were, before Canet allowed Moreira through on the second to last lap.

However, Moreira was too strong and crossed the line 0.056s ahead when both riders crossed the line.

Gonzalez secured third and finished 1.5s behind, proving that the gap out front was out of reach.

Dixon claimed a strong fourth place for Marc VDS, before OnlyFans American Racing team duo Roberts and Marcos Ramirez secured fifth and sixth place.

Alberto Arenas claimed seventh after a mini battle with Alonso Lopez, as Senna Agius defeated Holgado and Celestino Vietti in a late battle.

Zonta van den Goorbergh posted an impressive 12th in front of his home crowd for RW-Idrofoglia Racing GP.

Tony Arbolino finished in a lonely 13th, ahead of Red Bull KTM Ajo rider and home nation favourite Colin Veijer.

Ayumu Sasaki claimed the final point in 15th, as Alex Escrig and Eric Fernandez closed out proceedings.

Championship leader Manuel Gonzalez completed a dominant performance to take a vital Moto2 victory at Mugello.

The Dynavolt IntactGP rider recovered from eighth on the grid to win the race by 1.409s, as he extended his championship advantage to nine points.

Polesitter Diogo Moreira made a good start and held the lead through the first corner ahead of Aragon race winner Deniz Oncu.

Aron Canet pulled a move on championship rival Gonzalez to go third, as the pair began tussling for the first time on track.

Heading down the main straight for the first time, Oncu took advantage of the slipstream and overtook Moreira for the lead.

The leading group was made up of five riders as they headed down the start/finish straight for the second time, with Moreira regaining the lead and Arenas taking second from Oncu.

Arenas had the confidence and made a move on Moreira to lead of the pack over the line for the fourth tour of the circuit.

As the riders continued fighting for the podium positions, the group expanded to a nine-rider field, with Canet taking the initiative to lead the race.

The lead continued changing as the laps counted down, with Arenas returning to the lead as rivals Canet and Gonzalez recommenced their battle.

Filip Salac and Izan Guevara had the momentum and used their advantage to overtake Oncu for fifth and sixth.

As these battles continued, Gonzalez decided it was time to strike as he overtook compatriot Arenas for the lead of the race.

The championship leader would not remain in control for long, however, as Arenas used the slipstream effect down the main straight to take the lead once more.

The pair would continue their battle for the lead, as both riders used the slipstream to full effect in an attempt to take control of the race, though Gonzalez was able to guide the leading four away from the rest of the group.

Gonzalez had something extra as the tyres started to degrade as he pulled over a second clear of Arenas, as Canet and Moreira continued battling for the final podium position.

The battle for third continued, as Canet launched a move on the Brazilian, who knew the Spaniard would run wide and allowed him to sweep under and maintain the position.

On the penultimate lap, Moreira thought he had seen off the challenge from Canet but a squirm on the exit of Turn 1 allowed the Spanish rider to take third.

The battle for third would continue onto the final lap, which brought Celestino Vietti into contention as the pair scrapped throughout the last tour of the Mugello circuit.

Out front, Gonzalez crossed the line to complete his comeback from eighth on the grid as he took victory by over a second.

Arenas took the flag in second place, as Canet prevailed in the battle for the final podium position in third.

Moreira was forced to settle for fourth, with the fast-charging Vietti finishing a tenth behind in fifth.

Oncu took sixth ahead of Guevara in seventh, with David Alonso battling through the order to eighth.

The American Racing pair completed the top 10, with Joe Roberts finishing ahead of team-mate Marcos Ramirez.

Barry Baltus crossed the line in 11th ahead of Salac, whose degrading tyres saw him take 12th.

Senna Agius was 13th after defeating 14th-placed Alonso Lopez in the run to the line.

Dani Holgado rounded out the points as he finished 15th.

Deniz Oncu stole victory from Diogo Moreira via a photo finish to take his first-ever Moto2 victory at Aragon.

Oncu and Moreira were separated by just 0.003s across the line as the Turkish rider prevailed following an audacious move on the outside line, in what was the closest-ever finish to a Moto2 race.

Moreira got the best start to the race from pole position to lead into Turn 1 ahead of Oncu and Barry Baltus.

The leading group ran close together throughout the opening stages as Oncu moved past Moreira, with Baltus following the Turkish rider through a few corners later.

Aron Canet made a strong start from the second row of the grid and pressured team-mate Baltus and Moreira, but both riders were able to keep ahead of the experienced Spaniard.

Dani Holgado looked to have made a fast start, but was overly ambitious going into Turn 12 and crashed into team-mate David Alonso, with both riders out of the race.

On the second lap of the race, Baltus assumed the lead of the race ahead of Oncu, as both riders attempted an early breakaway from Moreira and Canet.

Canet and Moreira were able to bridge the gap to the leading pair, and the Spanish rider made a move on Oncu for second place.

As the race reached half distance, Canet made a slight error which allowed Oncu and Moreira to close back in and regain their positions.

Oncu and Baltus were the ones setting the pace at the front, with the Turkish rider taking the lead at the front and breaking the all-time lap record as he attempted to break from the Belgian.

Further down the field, championship leader Manuel Gonzalez made progress from 18th on the grid, making his way up into 8th and pressuring the riders ahead to make it into the top five.

Gonzalez used his pace to move past Alonso Lopez to move into seventh as he attempted to make up the two-second gap to Filip Salac ahead.

Out front, Moreira was the rider who had the pace in the closing stages and broke the lap record that Oncu had set just laps before.

The Brazilian rider used his advantage to pass Baltus for second as the trio appeared to have sealed the podium positions ahead of the fading Canet.

The Spanish rider lost a further position as Silverstone winner Senna Agius found his way into fourth.

Going onto the final tour of the circuit, Moreira set another fastest lap of the race as he attempted to steal victory away from Oncu.

The Brazilian managed to find a way through on Oncu, but the battle would continue throughout the final lap.

Oncu set up the final run down the straight perfectly as he gained the slipstream from Moreira in front, and parked his KTM Ajo machine on the outside line on the run to the finish.

A photo finish proved Oncu ran out as the victor, taking his first ever win in the Moto2 class 0.003s ahead of Moreira.

Baltus completed the podium in third, just under two seconds behind the leading pair.

Agius took the flag in fourth after showcasing some late race pace ahead of Salac in fifth.

Canet was forced to settle for sixth over the line, with the American Racing pair of Joe Roberts and Marcos Ramirez finishing seventh and eighth respectively.

Championship leader Gonzalez lost a few positions in the final laps and came home in ninth, while Lopez completed the top 10.

Izan Guevara finished the race in 11th ahead of Albert Arenas in 12th and last year’s race winner Jake Dixon in 13th.

Ivan Ortola crossed the line in 14th, while replacement rider Daniel Munoz completed the points finishers in 15th.

Senna Agius capitalised on a last-lap blunder from leader Aron Canet to claim his first win in Moto2 at Silverstone.

Canet made a last-lap move on David Alonso, which allowed Agius to forge his way through and take the win.

Pole-sitter Canet remained in the lead into Turn 1, but championship leader Manuel Gonzalez made a costly mistake off the line and fell to 12th by the end of the first sector.

Canet and Moreira swapped positions twice on the opening lap, but this allowed Pramac Yamaha rider Izan Guevara to pip them both at Turn 11.

Fantic Racing’s Canet forged his way back past his fellow countryman at Maggots and Becketts, setting the fastest lap in the process.

Hometown hero Jake Dixon rose to ninth place by the end of Lap 1, before losing three positions and ending up back in his starting position.

Moreira regained the lead thanks to a last-ditch move at Stowe, but once again, Canet pounced to regain the lead at Vale.

On Lap 4, championship leader Gonzalez crashed out while trying to overtake Barry Baltus, before his bike swiped the Belgian out of contention.

The lead duo formulated a half-second advantage ahead of Guevara, reigning Moto3 champion Alonso and Australian Senna Agius.

Alonso slotted his way through into third, but the lead quartet were now all separated by half a second by the halfway stage.

Canet and Moreira swapped positions at Turn 9 on Lap 11, and the ever opportunistic Alonso behind overtook both riders down the back straight.

Alonso and fellow countryman Canet battled incredibly hard, and the latter made an aggressive move at Turn 3.

All the action allowed Agius and Guevara to re-enter the fold for a possible podium, with the same four making impressive moves at the familiar corners.

Moreira lunged through on Alonso at Copse on Lap 13, and due to the slow cornering at this specific turn, allowed Canet to establish a 0.5s lead.

CFMoto’s Alonso regained second place, but the lack of action over the next lap allowed the Colombian to catch up to the new championship leader out front.

IntactGP’s Manuel Gonzalez extended his championship advantage by taking the Moto2 race victory at Le Mans.

The Championship leader remained calm despite being pressurised by Barry Baltus as he claimed his third win of the season.

Gonzalez held the lead from pole down into Turn 1, but Diogo Moreira had the speed through the chicane to take the lead from the Spanish rider.

Jake Dixon managed to progress from ninth on the grid into third on the opening lap as he attempted to pressure rival Gonzalez.

It was Barry Baltus who had the fastest pace in the early stages however, and he was able to overtake the British rider into the podium positions.

After Baltus, Gonzalez decided it was time to move to the front as he passed Moreira at Garage Vert for the lead.

Baltus clearly had the pace to take Moreira for second, but waited a few laps to overtake the Brazilian rider.

Gonzalez and Baltus had the pace to separate themselves from the rest of the field, but the Spanish rider was unable to break away from the Belgian as many expected him to do.

Further behind, the fight for the final podium position was brought on by Canet pressurising Moreira, as the Spanish rider made his way through.

The Brazilian rider responded at the Dunlop chicane, with Canet being forced to save the bike after losing the rear on the exit of Turn 4.

The mistake from the Spaniard allowed Dixon to move into fourth as the Brit had his sights set on the podium.

Canet was undeterred by his error the lap before, as he regained fourth from Dixon at the chicane.

One lap later, the Spaniard found himself in third after producing another overtake at the chicane on Moreira.

Albert Arenas also proved to have some pace, as he made his way through on Dixon for fifth.

In the final two laps, the battle proved to be for the final podium position, as Dixon forced Arenas wide to take fifth.

At the front, Gonzalez took the chequered flag to confirm his victory by 1.811s.

Baltus earned second place after showcasing his blistering pace throughout, while team-mate Canet completed the podium in third.

Moreira narrowly missed out on the rostrum in fourth, while Dixon’s last pace saw him take fifth.

Arenas trailed behind the second group as he came home in sixth with Filip Salac taking seventh.

Celestino Vietti earned eighth over the line, with rookie Ivan Ortola splitting the Speed Up pair as he took ninth ahead of Alonso Lopez.

David Alonso finished 11th after serving a long lap penalty, while Joe Roberts took 12th over the line after battling Sergio Garcia.

Senna Agius took 14th as he outdragged Marcos Ramirez to the line, with the Spanish rider completing the points finishers in 15th.

Manuel Gonzalez completed a lights-to-flag victory to seal a dominant Moto2 performance at his home race in Jerez.

Gonzalez reclaimed the championship lead as nearest rival Aron Canet could only manage eighth over the line.

Polesitter Gonzalez made the best start and led into the first corner from teammate Senna Agius.

The Australian had the better pace on the opening lap and appeared to challenge Gonzalez into Turn 2, but was unable to find a way through on the Spaniard.

A few corners later, the fast-starting Diogo Moreira used his early pace to move past Agius into second place.

Dani Holgado crashed at the final corner following an incident with teammate David Alonso, which saw him vacate his position at the back of the chasing group.

The battles continued in the opening stages, with Barry Baltus setting the fastest lap of the race and using his advantage to get past Agius onto the rostrum.

Alonso resumed his battles through the field after the incident with Holgado, but also crashed at the final corner and made contact with Izan Guevara on his way down.

At the front, Baltus continued to have the pace and moved past Moreira into second, as the pair attempted to close the gap to Gonzalez, which had already been extended to one and a half seconds.

Agius managed to recover some pace and was able to rejoin the fight for the podium with Baltus and Moreira, but the trio remained in position until the final laps of the race.

With three laps to go, Agius made his move stick on Moreira, despite the Brazilian’s attempts to force him onto the grass.

Deniz Oncu and Albert Arenas had been scrapping for fifth place throughout the race, as the Turkish rider made his move on the final lap of the race.

Gonzalez cruised to a dominant home race win and crossed the line 2.256s clear of the field.

Baltus confirmed his second place as he was able to hold off the late charge from Agius, with the Australian settling for third.

Moreira was forced to accept fourth, as Oncu won the battle for fifth ahead of Arenas in sixth.

Celestino Vietti took the flag in seventh, as Canet lost his championship lead with his eighth-place finish.

The MarcVDS pair rounded out the top 10, with Jake Dixon in ninth and Filip Salac taking 10th.

A photofinish separated the American Racing riders, as Joe Roberts stole 11th from teammate Marcos Ramirez by just 0.047s.

Rookie Adrian Huertas capped off a strong performance at his home race in 13th with Collin Veijer taking 14th.

Tony Arbolino crossed the line to score the final point in 15th.
